— A message from the president —

Dear Friends,

It is an understatement to say we are living in unprecedented times. The disruption to our lives has put us on our heels and we are, all of us, feeling like pioneers on a new frontier. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones.

Under the theme, “The Spirit of Maritime”, the ACMF is proud to honor two remarkable maritime pioneers with our Anchor Awards, for their contributions to the maritime sector: Rick Sasso, Chairman of MSC Cruises USA and Ambassador of the MSC Foundation in the Americas, and Win Thurber, Chairman of Norton Lilly International.

So make sure you join us on October 2 at 5:30p EST where you will also hear from one of our scholarship recipients and learn about the others.  Thanks to Captain Remy Vyzelman, Roland Malins-Smith, and Trevor Smith, who have made it possible to increase the number of students we are supporting this year and changing the lives of Caribbean youth.
